HyDefinition Plasma
Cutting solves many problems associated with
conventional plasma. By super
constricting the plasma jet, an energy density two or three times that
of conventional plasma is produced, resulting in a narrower kerf,
squarer edges and less dross. A sophisticated two stage nozzle
produces a more consistent plasma flow. The first stage of
the nozzle constricts plasma flow like conventional plasma, but a
path is provided to allow excess gas to escape. Since the pressure
gradient at the second stage of the nozzle is more stable , a more
consistent plasma stream is realized at the work piece. |
