The second day after breakfast we determined to canoe from blue springs to Convict Springs.

Along the way we encountered a wayward boat. Mr. Vaughn, our resident attorney , immediately suspected foul play. Upon closer inspection it was determined that since the seats were strapped down the boat had merely floated away (someone didn't know his boy scout knots), but by that time Mr. V. had flagged down a passing boat the; the call went out and in short order the owner was located.

Along the way we stopped at "The Redneck Riviera" .

The locals were out in force. Ropes hung from every tree. Jumping and swinging ensued. Soon, however, we were compelled to push on. We made stops at Running and Washtub Springs and finally rendezvoused and headed back to jacksonville
